A school where your child builds something real, and can show you how well it works.
Students learn by building ventures.
Academy is a planned not-for-profit private school for grades 8 to 12 in Palm Beach County, Florida. Students master science, technology and the arts by creating work for real customers, and our oldest students can graduate owning the ventures they built.
We are in the planning stage and are not yet enrolling. Join the interest list to be the first to hear when that changes.

Mathematics
Seven disciplines, one integrated practice. Students do not study them in isolation. They apply them together to work that matters to people beyond the classroom. The core academic subjects of English, mathematics, science and social studies are taught in full, in morning courses that earn Florida credit, and the afternoon Studio is where students put that learning to work.
Six aims for every graduate
- PurposeA clear understanding of why the work matters.
- ReadinessSkills that hold up in a real workplace.
- OwnershipResponsibility for the quality of results.
- VentureThe ability to create something people will pay for.
- ExpertiseReal depth in at least one field.
- Social capitalA network of accomplished adults who know the student's work.
We call them PROVES because our students prove what they can do, through work that others can see and value.
For families
Small classes, real projects, four days on campus
We plan to enroll thirty students in each grade, up to 150 across grades 8 to 12, so that every teacher knows every student well.
Monday to Thursday
On campus
Mornings are devoted to core academic courses. Afternoons are Studio, where students design, build and test real projects.
- 8:00 to 8:10Homeroom
- 8:15 to 11:25Core academic courses
- 12:10 to 2:15Studio
- 2:15 to 2:45Progress check-in

Friday
Venture Friday
Students work alongside employers, visit working sites and serve real clients. Grade 8 remains on campus.
This is our current plan. Schedules, courses and the campus are subject to change until the school secures its building and approvals.
What makes different
The venture ladder
Every student climbs the same ladder. By grade 12, a student can run a real business and graduate owning it.
- Grades 8 and 9
Students learn to design, build and test with no money at stake, mastering the craft before anything is sold.
- Grades 10 and 11
Students sell real products to real customers under the school's umbrella, guided by teachers at every step.
- Grade 12
Each student may register the venture in their own name and graduate as its owner.
Experience it before we open
The Lab
Six Saturdays in spring 2027 for students aged 12 to 15 to build something real with us in Wellington, Florida, while families see how we teach.
Dates, price and hours will be announced first to the interest list once the venue is confirmed.
From our classroom pilot
Learning by building
Before opening our doors, we taught the ESTREAM curriculum to real students. Here they wire batteries, LEDs and conductive dough into working circuits, learning how electricity behaves by making it work.
For families
Tuition and Florida scholarships
Tuition has not been set yet, and we will not guess at it here.
We intend to become a participating private school in Florida's scholarship programs, the Family Empowerment Scholarship and the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship, so that a family can bring a scholarship with them. A school's tax status does not decide this. Approval depends on having a building, staff, background screening and review by the Florida Department of Education, and none of that can happen until we are close to opening.
Tuition
Not yet set. We will publish it here as soon as the board has settled it.
Scholarship status
Not yet approved. Until we are, we cannot enroll students who use a scholarship. We will say so here the day that changes.
How families apply
Florida scholarships are applied for through Step Up For Students, not through the school. We will tell you when it is time.
Scholarship amounts and eligibility are set by the state and change from year to year. For current details, please visit Step Up For Students.
We will not send a newsletter. We will write to you when there is something real to tell you.
For employers and supporters
Help students meet the working world
Students learn fastest beside people who do the work. We are inviting local employers to host Venture Friday visits, and partners who share our belief that young people learn best by building.
Host a Venture Friday
Welcome a small group of students for a morning, set them a genuine problem and show them what excellent work looks like.
Advise on a project
Give an hour a month to a student team working on a product, a design or a customer question.
